The Jets-Bills rivalry is set to intensify in the upcoming season following strong remarks from Buffalo tackle Dion Dawkins. In an interview with VladTV, Dawkins discussed a post-game altercation that occurred after the Bills’ Week 11 victory over the Jets. Dawkins attributed the incident to Jets players being “weirdos being weird” and specifically targeted defensive lineman Michael Clemons, referring to him as a “bi–h boy” and expressing strong disdain for the entire Jets team.

Dawkins asserted that some players participate in sports for the love of the game, while others do it to appear cool, suggesting that the Jets fall into the latter category. He criticized them for wanting to take pictures for Instagram and emphasized his commitment to the sport, stating, “I play this because I die by it.” Dawkins did mention that he has no issue with Quinnen Williams but made it clear that he harbors strong animosity toward the rest of the Jets team.

The source of Dawkins’ animosity stems from Clemons’ trash-talking towards Bills quarterback Josh Allen during the game, with Clemons further escalating tensions by cursing out several Bills players in the tunnel after the match. Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner, unaware of Dawkins’ comments until the video circulated, responded on Twitter, emphasizing his love for the game and his lack of “NFL beef” with anyone.

The Jets and Bills are scheduled to face each other twice in the upcoming season, although specific dates have yet to be announced.
