The Washington Commanders are facing a favorable situation with multiple options ahead of the NFL Draft. According to reports from ESPN, the Commanders have received numerous calls regarding their No. 2 overall pick. While no final decision has been made, it’s anticipated that Washington will retain the pick and consider either North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye or LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels.

However, trading out of the No. 2 pick presents challenges, particularly due to interest from other teams like the New England Patriots and the New York Giants, both of whom are also eyeing quarterback prospects. Additionally, the Chicago Bears, holding the No. 1 pick, are expected to select USC quarterback Caleb Williams, potentially leaving Maye or Daniels available for the Commanders’ consideration.
